Stan Roofing Services was founded in 2004 by Stan Kowalski, a master roofer who trained in North London and spent five years perfecting his craft before going out on his own. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team of 12 skilled roofers — but the values haven't changed.
We're not a call centre with subcontractors. Every job is done by our own employed team, using materials we've vetted, and backed by guarantees we actually honour. We work across all 32 London boroughs, from Barnet to Bromley, Hackney to Hounslow.
Our reputation is built on word of mouth. Most of our work comes from repeat customers and referrals — which means we have every reason to do the job properly the first time.

Stan starts out
Stan Kowalski begins roofing as an apprentice in North London, learning the trade under a master roofer with 30 years' experience.
First crew
After five years honing his craft, Stan takes on his first two employees and starts taking on larger residential projects across the city.
NFRC membership
Stan Roofing Services achieves full NFRC membership — a milestone that opens the door to commercial contracts and local authority work.
Expanding across London
The team grows to 12 roofers covering all 32 London boroughs. A dedicated emergency response team is established.
